Sept Favor of the Month

As the school year approaches, our neighbors, the Parkview Learning Center, is in need of healthy snacks for their Students. We will be collecting healthy snacks throughout August and September.
You can drop off the snacks at the Church office or bring them to church on Sundays.
Suggested Snacks include: individually wrapped granola bars, crackers, healthy cookies, fruit snacks, popcorn, and other nutritious snacks.
If you're unable to bring snacks in person, please call the church 218-741-4961, and we can arrange for someone to pick them up for you. Thank you for your support and generosity!

Gethsemane is now a Pollinator Sanctuary sponsored by the Northeastern Minnesota EcoFaith Network. We are part of the 44 congregations in Northeastern Minnesota who have united “to live out God’s Care to be stewards of the earth for the sake of all creation.” Our church’s council has endorsed a congregational care-for-creation Covenant, an initiative of Lutherans Restoring Creation, Affirming God’s creation in all its glory and beauty.
