Christ, as your pastors we care deeply about your life of faith. We're
absolutely convinced that the major way that you can grow in faith is to spend
time in the Bible. So we challenge you to take five minutes each day for the
next eight months and read an appointed story. In the year Sept 2006- May 2007
we picked stories based on weekly and monthly themes. Due to popular demand
we have a listing of the readins still available here: Daily Bible Readings .
Challenge number two: Participate in a Bible Study. There are a number of Bible studies offered here on a weekly and monthly basis, as well as a day-long program in January. Take time out to learn. We guarantee that you will be blessed by it, because any serious reflection on Scripture will bear fruit in your trust in and devotion to the Lord.

Bible Display
Different Bibles are on display on the narthex table. These Bibles can be ordered for you. The desk organizer on the table contains order forms, a place to put completed order forms, and free Bibles in English and Spanish. Any Bibles ordered on Sunday will be available for pick up on the table the following Sunday.
Bring Your Bible
Members are encouraged to bring their Bible with them to worship. Readings will be from the New Revised Standard Version translation, but any Bible will do. The central Bible reading for the day will be announced on the cover of the bulletin.
Weekly Bible Study on Wednesday mornings; 10:30-11:30am in the Chapel (begins Sep 13th)
Pastor Nathan will be leading a Bible Study on the weekly themes. Two questions are raised: What did the words mean back then? What do the words mean for us today? Bring a Bible and come for the conversation.
Weekly Men's Bibles and Brew; Wednesday mornings @ 6:30-8:00am in the Fellowship Hall
Pastor Darin will be shepherding this Bible Study for men. It will be based on the weekly themes. The Master Builders Bible for Men will be used for discussion starters, and can be ordered at the Bible Display.
Monthly Bible Study; First Monday evenings @ 6:30-8:00 pm in the Chapel (begins Sep 11th)
If you are interested in a Bible Study in the evening, this may be for you. It will be held on the first or second Monday evenings and will be led by Pastor Nathan. The monthly themes will be the focus of the Bible Study and will provide an excellent introduction and grounding for the daily Bible readings and the worship services.
"Faith Matters Confirmation Ministry;" Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:00 pm begins Sep 6th in the Youth Room
This is a program for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, and their small group guides. Led by Pastor Darin, this is a full program that includes small group time, fellowship events, service events, and retreats.
"Faith Lens;" Sunday mornings, 10:00-10:40 am begins Sep 10th in the Youth Room
This is a Bible-centered program for senior high youth. It is led by Mark Gibson, Donna Flannigan, and Pastor Darin.
Women's Bible Study; Tuesday evenings @ 6:00 pm (began Sep 5th in the Adult Lounge)
Cost is $20.00 which includes the workbook and 11 sessions. This study keeps participants captivated by the God who stars in it! Call Sheila Vandervort at 741-0019 for more details.
