Pastor Darin says:

"Get together" you ask? Yes! Pastor Darin is driven by a passion that the good news of Christ Jesus makes a difference in our lives. Pastor Darin is particularly interested in developing small groups "to bring the church home." Because we are the church, we are called as disciples to carry the message of God's love into all the world. And what better way than to gather together in small groups around areas of interest? That way we can love God and serve our neighbor at the same time!

Pastor Darin was called to be Associate Pastor at Gethsemane Lutheran Church and was ordained August 22, 2003. Working specifically with youth and small groups, Pastor Darin is helping members to prayerfully discern where God is calling them to serve. Therefore, if you have an area of interest, send an email or call the church office (218-741-4961) and "Let's get together!"

Darin G.E. Elvemo is married to the coolest pastor he knows, Pastor Ann Christin Elvemo. They have three children: Kamilla (7 yrs), Jonas (3) and Sigrid (1 1/2 years).

Together, Ann Christin, Kamilla, Jonas, Sigrid and Darin enjoy doing anything outside: cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, camping, and picking berries. They also enjoy reading and listening to folk and classical music. Outside of the occasional unwanted fruit flies, they do not (**yet**) have any other pets.
