We wanted to give you a quick update to let you know that we miss you. We are working hard to make sure that we are ready for you to come back to camp as soon you can! We have been reaching out to our member church leadership and to our camper parents during these last few months. We are pleased to hear your voices and to know that campers are safe. Many of our churches are telling us that they are waiting to make any major group plans until there is more information about the health and safety of our kids.

Decisions about in person school and worship will be guiding us as we prepare for Summer Camp and Group Retreating. While we have been waiting to see what the next few months will bring, we have been making sure our sites and our programs are ready for you. We have new plans for food service, housing, capacity and use of our waterfront. We are currently renting our retreat space at both camps and it is our plan to have Summer Camp happen in 2021 to the best of our ability. Our plans will help us be ready for what changes the pandemic may throw at us.

Thank you for your continued support of God’s mission at Camp Hiawatha and Camp Vermilion.
