Previews gives high-school youth a “preview” of seminary life. It’s designed for youth who have gifts for ministry.

Previews explores:

  • What does it mean to be called?
  • Why consider ministry?
  • What’s it like to attend seminary?

“I have been bringing High School youth to Previews at Luther Seminary since 1998. It has been a very positive and uplifting day for every student through all those years. We talk about the joys and struggles of their lives in school now and about their gifts, talents, interests, hopes and dreams as they look to the future and think about serving God in whatever they do with their lives. It may be the first time they have ever made a connection between what they do in life and living out their faith. From the moment we walk through the doors of Luther Seminary, each young person I have brought to Previews has felt like someone who matters – honored, encouraged and valued with a vision of how their faith makes a difference in what they do with their lives. You never know the seeds of faith that are planted on that day!”
