Caring for Creation—What Could It Look Like in Your Congregation?

A gathering for lay leaders and ministry staff of the Laurentian Conference.

Worship – Learn – Imagine – Connect

Monday, September 30, 2019

Hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church, Cook

Led by members of the NE MN Synod EcoFaith Network’s Leadership Team. Sponsored by the Laurentian Conference.     Lunch will be provided with a freewill offering (estimate $6/per person).

This is one of five gatherings throughout our synod taking place this Fall to follow up the March 30 EcoFaith Summit “Creation, Church, and YOU: Earthkeeping Practically Speaking.” You do not have to have attended the Summit in order to come to a Fall gathering. This gathering will give your congregation tools and perspective for integrating care of creation into your ministry as a whole. Congregations in our conference can learn from each other and grow together.     Who should come from our congregation? Our pastors, deacon or other ministry staff. Leaders from our primary ministry areas, (e.g. Worship, Christian Education, Stewardship, Property, Outreach). People with a special interest in connecting faith with their love of the creation and concern for our well-being within it.

Registration deadline: Thursday, September 26
