As you walk into the library, a children’s section is to the right. You will see a child’s table and chairs with books and DVDs on display.
There are three different categories of books in the children’s area:
▪️Easy books are available for parents to read to children. Also, there are books for early readers to learn and practice reading. A great variety of books for our youngest readers are in the “E” section.
▪️Youth books are distinguished by fiction and non-fiction. Y FIC or Y NFIC are the two separate groups.
▪Y FIC are books for youth who have accomplished their reading skills and want to enjoy a book of fiction such as the series Nate the Great and Magic Tree House. Books of Y NFIC include famous persons, challenging topics, and faith life.
The church library has Bible translations for all ages, including youth.
