Ways to Worship with Gethsemane
In the Sanctuary
We are currently worshiping in-person in our sanctuary every Sunday at 9:00 am. Masks are optional. We usually follow the Revised Common Lectionary for our weekly scripture and themes.
We practice an "open table" at Gethsemane where all believers are welcome to partake in the meal of Christ, no matter what denomination of Christianity you usually attend. Communion is served by intinction (dipping) using homemade bread and red wine/white grape juice. Gluten free elements are available.
Children are welcome in worship and are encouraged to come forward for the Children's Message just before the sermon . They are then invited to go to Sunday School for the rest of worship or stay with their family in the pew. Children's "busy bags" are available in the entryway.
Please assess your own health as you consider attending worship in person and refrain from attending if you have an illness that may be contagious. If, at any time, the local schools switch to online-only instruction, indoor in-person worship will be suspended and only the livestream and TV worship options will continue.
Other ways to participate in worship:
We live stream our worship on our Facebook page. Tune in on Sundays at 9:00 am to participate live with other members and friends. Feel free to comment and react to the worship in real time! The live, unedited video will remain on our Facebook page throughout the week.
