We are truly blessed to have a mild winter. Feels like spring is here in March! I should not speak too soon.

Everyone should be aware that significant work has been accomplished by your council members for excellent pulpit coverage for March through April and likely into May as we continue to work with the Synod in calling for an interim pastor and exploring options for a permanent pastor down the road. Our congregation will need to open our minds to options and be flexible as there is a short supply of pastors and much demand throughout MN.

Soon we will be looking for a varied demographic representation of our congregation to be on a 6-member call team and work with the Synod and council in search of our next pastor. This should be an exciting opportunity and we would like to have members of different ages (youth and adults of different ages) along with those with varied durations of membership with our church (newer members as well as those who have been with Gethsemane a while) to make up the 6 members of the call team. 

This will be a huge benefit to our whole congregation, so please let us know as we move forward if interested on being a part of this call team as soon as possible!
