Lay Eucharistic Ministry

Our ministry exists to minister to the homebound, ill or hospitalized members of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, who are unable to be present at the regular worship service to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion.

The service of this ministry is to administer the sacrament of communion, provide emotional support and ascertain any needs, which the pastor or congregation might meet.

Our Lay Eucharistic Ministers share in the duties of visiting homebound individuals or families once a month.
