Hopefully by the time you read this, winter might be over. Part of the discussion at council this month was how the plowing and utility bills were higher this year than last. We can all understand why. Reports were given on the goings on of the various ministry teams as well as financial reports. The council then reviewed and discussed Mission and Goals for the council in 2022.

We are in need of volunteers for the nominating committee (recruiting for council) and for the audit committee (checking our books once a year). If you feel that your talents would work well in one of these roles, please let us know. We need everyone pulling together to keep Gethsemane going!

Any young member of our congregation that would be interested in serving on the council should let us know. It’s a great way to serve your church (and great on a resume, too!). Thank you all for everything you do and for continuing to make Gethsemane the great place it is!
