September is always busy, but so good to reconnect after summer.

September 8th, our New Orleans Youth Gathering Team hosted our worship service. Each one shared their personal experience, plus we were treated to highlights of their trip on a slide show at coffee. Thank you to all that contributed to make this trip a reality.

September 15th, Welcome Back Sunday. Sunday School registration took place, we also celebrated the completion of our “Raise the Roof” campaign. Again, thank you to all for your contributions to make this happen. Thank you Bennet for your delicious Sloppy Joes at our special lunch.

September 18th was our “kick-off” for LIFT (Live In Faith Together), our collaborative youth program with Our Saviors and Messiah churches.

At the September council meeting we heard reports from our various ministries. 

We continue weighing our options for replacing the lower level floors that were water damaged.

Another Family Fun Night is being planned for November with our Saviors and Messiah. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our get-together in August.

In October the Call Committee will be evaluating the surveys completed by the congregation.
